Unique Ways
for Unique Journeys
My consulting approach has been inspired by one of the most instructive observations I’ve made in the 21 years I’ve been in business. That Entrepreneurship is not necessarily Business. That Business is not necessarily Entrepreneurship. And that the magic of business success actually happens where the two connect, neither substituting the other.
I’ve witnessed many struggles, and even cases of demise, where either Entrepreneurship (purpose, vision, ideas, passion and ‘hustle’) or Business (market realities, game plan, processes and systems, resources and people) tried to go it alone.
When Entrepreneurship ventures alone, the hands and feet perspective (How) is compromised and progress suffers. When Business tries, the head and heart perspective (Why) is compromised and all else becomes less meaningful.
The Epic Map, my tested response to this phenomenon, is a comprehensive and carefully crafted blueprint that orchestrates a healthy balance between entrepreneurial impetus (Entrepreneurship) and operational finesse (Business), thus setting entrepreneurs and their businesses up for success.

The design of the Epic Map is premised on the notion that, to succeed, businesses must:
Prepare for Opportunity
Clarify intent and game plan. Put in place organisational arrangements that will deliver against these two. Brand the business for success based on clarity.
Find Opportunity
Champion intent, game plan and brand in relevant market spaces, for relevant opportunities, as guided by strategic and brand clarity.
Deliver on Opportunity
Respond adequately, profitably and sustainably to the opportunities the business pursues.
Change
Continuously adapt to the changing internal and external realities for continual health and relevance.

At A, we PREPARE for opportunity.
At B, we GO find and deliver on opportunity.
At C, we ADAPT.
My team and I employ a variety of tailored and time-relevant interventions throughout the engagement process to help entrepreneurs and businesses navigate their epic journeys. These interventions include, among others:
- Business and strategic clarity workshops
- Strategy formulation and development workshops
- Strategy and process alignment workshops
- Strategy implementation support
- Development of processes and systems
- Performance enhancement for teams
- Facilitated learning and development activities
- Branding and marketing support.
